Michael Winger

Whether you believe in it or not, clairvoyance, healing and so-called “supernatural powers” proves to engage deeply and broadly. Michael Winger is considered to be Norway’s most clairvoyant and has such strong qualities, that even the police use Michaels help to find people who have disappeared without a trace. And against all odds, Michael finds them – time after time.

In this film we follow Michael, a 33 year old father from Eidsvoll, Norway, who is going to prove his abilities by solving some of the most famous cases of disappearance in Norway. Together with researcher Torstein Royne, former police chief Tore Salvesen, journalist Per-Asle Rustad and an entire camera crew, Michael holds nothing back when he meets skeptics and tries to prove that what he does is far from cheating and deception.

One such case is the search for Håkon Andersen who disappeared mysteriously after a trip to the mountains. Neither police, The Red Cross or 13 clairvoyants who became involved in the search, managed to get to the bottom of the mystery. When Michael is summoned as clairvoyant number 14, Håkon’s relatives are sceptical. But Michael surprises them: He starts of by pointing out the area where the missing turns out to be. In addition, he told them how the missing person died, in the smallest detail. Everything he says, proves to be right. It becomes impossible to explain. But for Michael It’s all natural.

Similar incidents recur: Michael gets summoned when all seems hopeless. We see how skepticism and ridicule makes him even more determined to reach his goal: To demonstrate to the world that what he does is not made up of mystery, cheating and deception, but is as real as all other senses.
